02 / RECOLORED PREVIEW
Preview both images on the same background. These background colors are not included in your PNG.
Checkerboard = transparency. JPG backgrounds remain solid. This tool changes colors; it does not remove backgrounds. Your image is processed on this device and is not uploaded.
CHANGE LOGO COLOR TO BLACK OR WHITE
Try the logo example to see a green logo change to blue on a transparent background. Choose Replace with Black or Replace with White to recolor the selected green pixels. The blue accent stays unchanged. Use Light to inspect a black logo or Dark to inspect a white logo, then compare the original and recolored previews.
CHANGE PNG COLOR AND KEEP TRANSPARENCY
Upload a transparent PNG, click the color you want to replace, and choose a new color. Fully transparent pixels and the opacity of soft edges stay intact. Black and white presets affect matching colors, not every visible color in a multicolor logo. Increase Color Range carefully and check the preview before downloading.
The checkerboard is only a transparency guide. Switching to a light or dark preview does not add a background to the exported file. A white background already present in your image remains opaque; this tool does not remove it.
How do I replace a color?
Choose your image, click the old color in the original preview, then choose its replacement. Adjust Color Range until the preview includes the shades you want. Download the result at its original dimensions.
How do I handle smooth edges or shading?
Increase Color Range gradually if edge colors are left behind. For shaded icons, enable Preserve light and dark detail. This shifts matching pixels relative to the selected color; very dark or bright results may clip. Flat logos usually work best with this option off.
Will the PNG stay transparent?
Yes. Every pixel keeps its original opacity, including semi-transparent edges. A JPG does not contain transparency, so converting it to PNG does not automatically remove its background.
Can I use this without clicking the image?
Yes. Enter the original and replacement colors as six-digit hex values, such as #39FF14. You can reach both color controls and the range slider using your keyboard.
